Various surgical techniques were introduced for the correction of prominent malar complex, but several problems were noticed at postsurgical state.
We describe a technique for malar contouring involving bicoronal approach followed by in situ transposition osteoplasty and rigid fixation. We have performed this procedure on 20 patient with satisfactory result.
